 So I was thinking, since we now have all of the rifles, shouldn't the bonuses for the assault dropsuits change?
 
 What if the bonuses changed completely, so that Gallente assaults for example, doesn't have a useless recharge skill.
 
 
 It would be better if the "first" bonus was towards their racial weapon's efficacy, so Minmatar assaults get a faster ROF on their CR, or something like that.
 
 Then the second bonus to goes to EHP/regen which depending on race, varies; So Gallente assaults get bonuses to armor while amarr assaults get bonuses to both shield and armor, but 50/50 on both sides.
 
 
 Basically make assault suit bonuses better, instead of silly 5% recharge per level; that some suits don't even find useful. C'mon even scout suits have cool bonuses.

 Shield bonuses on Gallente assaults is stupid.
 
 They're not the only class with silly bonuses though. Sentinel bonus - reducing feedback damage. Really?

 YES the Assault suits need better bonuses.
 
 There was never a logi problem, there was just a crap Assault problem.
 
 I think a race specific bonus should be limited to the Amarr though. Otherwise it'd just be undermining the customisation aspect of the game.

 Personally I believe that your suit shouldn't have an effect tied to racial parity.
 
 Just because Im in a Minmatar Suit doesn't mean I should have to run Minmatar weapons, thats the whole point of choice. So while minmatar weaponry prefers closer ranges, I may personally prefer longer range engagements.
 
 However I don't see a problem with non-combat related perks in say a racial upgrade tree, like spare ammo capacity, fitting reductions, resupply rates. Stuff that won't disadvantage you for not having them, but will still be a boon if you do.

 No, then you end up where we were with the cal logi who got like a 10% bonus to extenders. Don't relate them to health.
 
 Caldari: -2% shield recharge delay per level
 Gallante: +5% Armour Repair per level
 Minmatar: +2% Speed per level
 Amarr: -2% armour stacking penalty per level

 So what, if you can survive 1 extra projectile of a 2400 rpm hmg? i say increase it to 5% extender (per level, sorry) efficacy for cal assault, they have less high slots anyways, one slot is bound to be used for recharges as well

 No minmatar suit spefic bonus should increase its speed, or if you prefer to both shield and armour repping, minmatar like the amarians are more of dual tanked suit, its base speed for armour without loss of manoeuvrability, passives reps imply being in armour often.
 
 While use of shields allow quick regeneration of health. Its one of the more versatile suits.

 I think the assault perks should be more offensive oriented...the Amarr and Minmatar are on the right track, Gallente perk tracks well with efficient use of high end gear. Only really outlier is Caldari...they might need the most significant update.
 
 Recommendation:
 1) Amarr heat reduction bonus stays
 2) Minmatar ammo increase for sidearms is upgraded to allow it to work for the combat rifle and HMG
 3) Gallente keeps the hybrid weapon resource reduction perk
 4) Caldari should get a decrease in spool time for rail weapons or another weapon related perk.

 The basic Assault bonus should be the Logi's passive armor rep. Only THEN should CCP focus on the racial bonuses.
