I won't be able to access my PS3 for a couple of days and I was just wondering if LP suits retained their racial bonuses unlike the aurum suits. I know they are supposed to be better than aurum some having decreased PG and CPU but I am unsure whether keeping there racial bonuses is one of the qualities not just lowering the Skill Point cost.

I think you're a little confused.
The suits are identical to the AUR versions in that they require less skill points to use. They receive the same bonuses that their equivalent suit does from skills.
It is the Specialist Weapons that use less PG/CPU.

I don't have much experience with higher tier suits I mainly deal in tanks I was unsure exactly how the racial bonus was applied
and perhaps I worded it wrong I know that it is only the specialist weapons that receive the bonus in PG/CPU

racial bonuses are applied based on skills, not suits.
Lets say you have amarr logi to skill 5, even if you use the basic amarr logi suit, you still receive the level 5 bonus...

No worries, you can't be expected to know everything intuitively!
The tier of the suit has absolutely nothing to do with the racial bonus, only the skill does. That being said, if you have Minmatar Logistics to V, you will get that +25% Hack Speed and +5 Passive Armor Rep regardless if it is a Standard, Advanced, or Prototype suit.

Thanks for the clarification I am taking a break from putting skills into tanks and working on my assault suit for PC and I want to see what I need to level up and what I can get by on using LP.
