Because Rail Technology means NO BULLET DROP. The bullet is shot with so much power than i don't think we could notice a drop before at least 2000m.
If it was an Minmatarr or an Gallente Technology i'll said okay because their bullet is not really fast and have a huge weight. But a rai lshot it's like i was saying laser shot has a drop of that's pretty weird..... |

I love bullet drop, I snipe in any game I can but the sniping in this game is awful. Rendering issues, joke scope zoom and the firerate is to high. I don't see a point in bullet drop for a railgun/sniper rifle considering how fast they go, but Id like to see it on a gallente/minmitar sniper rifle.
Bad company 2 had the best sniping mechanics of any fps. |

But, as I've said earlier, I wasn't actually being serious with this request.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage looks nicer.

Cool idea, but here's how I would implement it:
Instead of bullet drop - I would add a feature where every sniper rifle has a 100% chance of exploding and killing the sniper when he attempts to fire. Upon two attempts to fire a sniper rifle, the sniper will be removed from the game, and banned until next downtime.
Who cares what some sniper has to say
