as ive read the forums of the many types of restrictions suggested id say that none of theme individually would work..
i propose a different type of matchmaking restriction system.
instead of setting up walls that separate the player base. lets set up some doors that can be opened..
now for the details of what im trying to get too.
these "doors" are restrictions that can be set up and chosen by the individual player.
these options could be mixed together.
they would include sp, wp, gear type, squad size. and possibly more.
since these doors could be opened at anytime. its not separating the entire playerbase as these restrictions are optional only.
a player could set up his own restriction too find matches comprised of low sp,wp, mlt only, and no squads or small squads.
this would effectively create the "new battle academy" mode.
i feel this type of system could benefit just about every1 within the current game if this system were to be implemented.
these optional restrictions could be placed somewhere on the battle finder. just to make it easier on those new to the game.
and when these new players progress they may no longer be able to participate in low sp/wp matches through time but would still be allowed access to mlt/no squads matches.
this could create a type of balance and potentially kill off alot of the pubstomps in the end as well as keep current players and possibly bring new players to the game.
the only possibly problem i can see coming from this is longer average matchmaking times.
but id just have to ask one question.
what would u prefer?
having a nice balanced more fun match at the cost of waiting a little longer for a match? or instantly jump into a match just to get stomped into the ground over and over again all day long and complain afterwards?
although since these doors are optional. we could still keep our fast matchmaking times by turning off the restrictions. |
