I know this is contradicting my history on the forums but it needs to be done before I do something il regret majorly in the near future.
With the vehicle respec I obtained about 10.9 million SP in unallocated sp, I haven't spent much at all, I just spent about 2 million finishing off my prototype Gallente Assault suits and all.
The more I look at how the balance is now I cant help but be a little proud of myself at the potential fact that I was one of the tankers that made this happen a little at least.
When I see whats happening to the tanks this build, im a bit disappointed on how far CCP took this balancing act. Don't get me wrong, im happy that vehicles and AV is finally balanced, near perfection. a single AV guy no longer blocks an entire squad of tanks from having a good game. now not every brain dead idiot can solo a well fitted tank if he has 2 av grenades or proto swarms. now it takes some intelligence for you to kill tanks off and Im happy about that.
the problem now is that AV still thinks it should have the right to solo anything it throws a grenade at. that's not how it works anymore, you need to wait until the glowing stops and the modules are in cooldown mode.. "but that's bs because every time their modules are in cooldown mode they back off and wait for them to get back", ******* duh, that's whats meant to happen, do you really expect tankers to just sit in the middle of the battle in his most vulnerable state, or do you expect them to think and try to survive best they can?
However I believe that the militia tanks are too hard to kill off, regardless of modules being used, people with 0 sp in vehicles can now compete with people that have millions of sp in vehicles and that's not right.
My time as a rail tanker was both fun and torture, what I can say is that the current price of tanks is what they should have been before 1.7.
Its time for me to step down from tanking, vehicles altogether for a good long while.
To my former tank brothers and sisters, this is farewell and goodbye.
King Checkmate, Atiim, and a few others who tried constantly to keep tanks in the position of being nearly non-existing, gg guys, but you failed to keep Dust similar to call of duty. youl hardly ever see me in another tank thread. im finished here.
I have or had a reputation for being a monster railgun user, i do hope i can keep that legacy going somehow.
Its been fun guys, but its time for me to hang up my railgun and step down from the vehicle/av situation.

P.S. i will become a pilot again when CCP gives us fighter jets.

I think the fighter jets were occupied by Valkyrie...
