No military fights a war with its army acting independently of its navy. They work together, attacking the same objectives.
I'm curious as to why CCP doesn't let Dust mercs use the star map to actually choose the districts they want to attack. Right now we end up in a match, usually in a district on a planet too deep behind enemy lines to receive assistance from Eve pilots or be of any help in an actual invasion of a system.
CCP, is there a technical limitation keeping from letting us choose perticular districts to attack? It just works better to be automatically assigned to matches. You used to be able to choose a match to play.

DeathwindRising wrote:and one final question... will it ever be possible to capture Eve FW space stations in Dust as mercs, to flip their ownership/sovereignty in Eve? No. Stations are usually owned by non-military corporations, not the factional navy, plus there's no reason to add a feature because it wouldn't change anything. If we ever do get the ability to board and conquer stations, they'll be player stations, not NPC stations.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage looks nicer.

That already happens when you take a system. You can't access stations in the FW regions unless the system they're in belongs to your militia. yea i know that but, im talking about capturing the stations individually, so you wouldnt have to wait til the whole entire system is flipped. you send merc in to capture the enemy staging station to keep them from getting to their ships, and you can basically cut them off from their supplies and capture the system faster It's not happening. EVE players would get pissed off too much by this.
