Now that shield tanking is no longer OP, and armor with damage mods is FOTM, what does the community think of returning CalLogis CPU to it?
I think it can't hurt. Anything below proto is near impossible to fit well, and even if we don't take it back to its original levels, it could use a little love. |

NoNoNo. The Cal Logi still has 4 lows, so it doesn't have to shield tank. Any buff to that chained monster would be disastrous.

Damage modifiers are not the FOTM, it's just that the alternative modules are all useless.
What's the difference between an immobile Minmatar ship and a pile of garbage?
The pile of garbage looks nicer.

But to make any decent fit requires a low slot be used on a CPU upgrade.
Suppose we return its values to all tiers, and proto tier gives up a low slot in return? |

Suppose we return its values to all tiers, and proto tier gives up a low slot in return? That would be acceptable. It would equalize it with the Gal Logi at least. I never understood why they gave a Caldari suit 4 lows...

I too think that 4 lows is over the top for a shield tanker. I think 3 lows is plenty for them. I just want to have my advanced CalLogi be able to fit more than just standard items. I can barely fit on advanced anything, and I have level 4 in all fitting skills. |

I dunno man, I love my adv cal logi and RARELY run proto coz all it really gets me is another 300ish hp. I think we'd all like more cpu/pg but until they fix shields what's the point? as a logi the last thing I fit to my suit is weapons, if that means gimping myself back to a std gun and no nades so be it. |

I fit complex armor+shields, proto reps and proto scan, not sure where your are struggling. |

Tell you what, let me put a PG module in a high on my Amarr suit so I don't have to use one of my primary tanking slots to deal with the gimped PG on that suit (unlike what you have to do, you get 5 highs to tank with and can use your extra low for more CPU) and I'll think about it.
Also, more importantly, how about we wait until they switch the suit bonuses to be equipment based and see what you need then?

I'm one of those weird people who wants to spec into Caldari from Gallente because I like shield tanking in theory. I sat through the Cal Logi era and think it doesn't need any more slots or CPU than it currently has.
Tarn chose peace. Tallen chose war. Where is my Gallente sidearm?

Again, reducing proto's low slots by 1 (because proto CalLogis where the problem) and buff CPU on all models. Caldari have the highest CPU out of everyone, save on their logistics suit, where they are the lowest. And their method of tanking is CPU intensive to boot. |

According to my knowledge the Caldari barely have the highest CPU on any suit currently...they have on basic medium frames/assault frames exact the same amount of CPU/PG like the gall and less CPU/PG than Amarr and Minmatar...
I personally would love to see the gallente suits have higher PG compared to the caldari and caldari having higher CPU compared to te gallente...

That thing can still omni tank like a beast. Buffing it would ensure our demise as a collective. |
