The fact:
A logistic gk.0 can easily bring 4 rep nanohives (spamming 7 of them), with 670 Armor, 6.87 Sprint, Proto Light, 2 complex dmg mod. (fitting tool) Now, multiply it by 16. There will potentially be 112 rep nanohives. 112. Fill the city or the objectives with that (high places preferably, just in case) and start shooting.
Am I the only one seeing an issue both with nano hive spam and gk.0 logi?

Yes, they also gave a hint: You'll have to waste an OB in order to destroy equipments. Seriously? Doesn't solve the problem at all: just go back to the supply depot and spam again.

You do realize all logi suits has 4 equipment slots. But hey lets hate on Gallente specifically. I have never seen more than 4 sets of repping hives near an objective either.

Of course it would. Why not just capping the total number of nanohives/drop uplinks a player can spam, like, 3 nanohives and 3 drop uplinks per player regardless of the type of nano hive/drop uplink?

Obviously, not in pubs/FW. Specifically Gallente, because you can actually use your logi suit as an assault (the old ck.0, anyone?), much better than an assault: 2 damage mods, 600+ armor and constant auto repairing looks OP to me.

Has this changed? If you run different types of nanohive, you can have more out at a time. Also, "(R)" variants allow 2 simultaneous active nanohives at once. Add the Compact to the list because while not labeled as (R) it also has repair capabilities, and you have your 7 Repair Nanohives from 4 equipment slots.
Also, if you load up on 4 slots worth of Wiyrkomi Nanohives, you'll only be able to have 2 active at a time, but you carry 3 per slot for a maximum of 12. |

a¦á_a¦á /can't tell if stupid or just ignorant.
Protip: Caldari and Amarr Logi suits max out at three (3) equipment slots.
AmLogi gains back a slot in the form of a sidearm (but loses one for Amarr racial suit design, because CCP), while CalLogi gains back a high slot, and two low slots. Because CalLogi "lulz I can stack armor just like an Amarr Logi or GalSalt". |

Wrong on the Caldari Logistics.
The Caldari simply trades an equipment slot and some CPU for an extra low.

I'd say a partial solution would be having your equipment disappear if you change suits. Put it in lore that the equipment is drawing it's energy from your suit and cannot exist without a connection to it. If you die, the equipment will stay in place so long as you respawn in the same fit.
This would tackle the biggest issue which is everyone spamming their equipment from their dozens of fittings right at the supply depot.

Caldari and amarr have 3, amarr trades one equipment slot for a sidearm and caldari trades one equipment for its slot layout believe.

Compared to Gallente and Minmatar Logi suits. I was referring to the difference of CalSalt vs CalLogi, where the Logi suit gains +1 H/+2 L, on top of +2 Equipment, while receiving a minor penalty of no sidearm.
So I suppose that makes both of us correct. |

^ Ok, then. Your post did not specify the frame of reference, from what I could tell... (and if you are comparing Caldari Assaut to Caldari Logistics, then the Logi gains only one low over the Assault, not two)

Yeah, that would kill equipment spam. And equipment use in general. I have a variety of logi fittings, and none of them dedicated to spam. Your suggestion would hurt me, for no other reason than some [Not me] are abusing something. |

PROPER Solution: Nanohive limits should be for max number of total nanohives, NOT max number per type.
If you have one nanohive active, and deploy a second, and EITHER of those nanohives has a limit of 1, the first should vanish. If you have 1 nanohive and deploy a second, and both have a limit of 2, you end up with 2 nanohives. If you try deploying a 3rd, the first one you deployed will vanish.
Simple, elegant, solves the problem. |

That's right. It's so simple that I can't understand why doesn't ccp thought about it, or why they just didn't fix it.

That's like saying weapons are useless. Sure, you can kill the reds, but they'll just spam clone more reds.
And so this has taken a turn.

Oh no, that's not exactly the same: you're killing a red because, well, that's the game. But spamming equipment is simply a broken mechanic abuse, that's it! It's more like the tank argument: you'll have to take care of not just one issue (the self repairing super-suit) but even with framarate lag and issues related. You'll have to "waste" resources (grenades / time) in order to play a fair game. But you just won't succeed. It's pretty hard to explain for me, it's better if I show you with a video, what the issue really is. I'll upload a vid soon showing you how cheap and exploitable mechanic it is.
