Not sure if you guys knew this but the game you play all the time, Dust 514, didn't cost you a penny to buy! However LBP and COD cost actual money (real world money, not ISK nor AUR).

I guess the saying is true. You get what you pay for. No lose no gain.
I guess it's fair. Though it does not change the fact that it is real sweet on InfinityWards part to do this. Really helps build the player-company relation; reinforces it and promotes a positive message that profits aren't everything.
IW and Activision definitely did their image right. Props.

Hey some of us [used to] spend real money on this game. At one point I think I was buying a merc pack a month plus other bits and bobs. So you know only -ú15 here, a few more there but that was most months. I have not spent a penny in a long time.
I would love for CCP to give me reasons to want to purchase things again.
Colour schemes, paints for our weapons and dropsuits. Vehicle camo options, vehicle paints. Deals and offers like the old merc pack.... I could go on. |

CCP already announced Dust players will be receiving a free gift daily from Dec 25 until....i think Jan 8th? Not sure about end date, but they did already announce it. Starts the day after the last Eve Yule lad day. |
