FW is a boring sham of what It used to be where players fought passionately for their empire knowing they were getting nothing but a shift from one system to the next.
Now FW's purpose is dead and its unfulfilling and a wasted opportunity to expand on the EVE universe. CCP reduced it to another grind fest mode where you but cheap aurum proto gear for ludicrously low sums of ISK.....
Its sad when I can AFK in Gallente FW and have more LP and Standing than I do with my chosen faction because scrubby blue dot idiots are only rolling into FW.....
Which is why this build is garbage for someone like me. My goal is made meaningless by the general community's attitude towards the FW game mode.
GRIND IT THE **** OUT is now what FW is all about.

I think the problem is people playing for the lp gear, the gear itself isn't a problem.
You are right its not the LP gear its the popularity and player pool disparity between the factions.

Nah you guys do have proportionately more top tier corps who have an active interest and standing in relation to your Empire/
Hellstorm, Molon Labe, all of Covert Intervention, Prima Gallicus, Turalyon 514....

I think it's because caldari hasn't got many solid corps supporting it like Gal and Min. But im not gonna lie, i do get some good matches even if i lose alot. However Dusts player base is tiny it also cannot be cyclic without a player market, and established corps have set madates that they set both Min and Gal as their main FW clients.
When 60-70% of the community is already affiliated with two factions and can come and go as they please between them there will never be balance nor a cyclic nature to Dust side FW.
We have seen that for the last 2 months where FW has been consistently dominated by Gal and Min.
There are not enough players switching factions to make FW sustainable for the other two factional alignments.

Well since I am not aligned with Cal or Gal I cannot say with the same clarity that you have but I do not know of any major corporations aligned with the Caldari.
Maybe tac on Nova Corps Marines and Dead Six Initiative but they are vastly more active EVE side in I-RED and Lokuun Listamenn.

I rolled a week of Min, Caldari and Gal FW on alts to test the player pools.
I came to the same conclusion I have now. Popularity imbalance and low community count is a serious issue.

Yeah its fked, there was a week where both sides had a newb imbalance but now its just pure fked and agreed.
I'm done with playing a game mode where its balance upon how bad your players are. I just want to fight with skilled people who are better than me.
