Full uninstall- reinstall of dust Delete dusts saved files ( settings and random catches) Don't run music or the browser in the background Run video settings at medium to low Pray like hell they can find the damn leak source So the memory leak is the thing thats causing it? Perhaps I should start restarting my PS3 every hour of play?
Sadly it works yeah. I have a gen 5 slim and if I don't restart it after about two hours. .. well the research lab moves like a pc match.
Also yeah, voice capable channels do play a role, because voice is handled by a third party. .. sucks up a lot of resources too.
Something witty here.
How DOES one get a cat into a dropsuit?

So, it just happened again.
Sent in another ticket.
Ticket wrote:Please check this battle;
Sunday, 22/12, 12:50 - 12:51 EVE Time.
Check for whatever could've caused this, anything.
This is just becoming an awful pain, and I dont see myself continuing playing DUST if this continues, every other PS3 game, can work on my PS3, but for some reason, DUST, which is a PS3 game, only works on select PS3s.
It makes no sense.
I have;
Replaced the power cord, assuming that was the problem GÇó Moved my PS3 further away from the radiator in the room GÇó Defragged my PS3 GÇó Rebuilt the database of my PS3 GÇó Reinstalled DUST GÇó Deleted my DUST Save files GÇó Handed my PS3 in for repairs, only to have it handed back GÇó Removed all possible chat channels GÇó Cleared space on my harddrive GÇó Lowered graphic settings And everything else, you have suggested.
There is nothing else I can do, this problem comes back to you, I have done everything I possibly could do, the only thing left to do is to delete this game before it causes my PS3 to die because the amount of times I've had to check for corrupted data, cannot be healthy for my PS3.
I might actually go play games that are developed for the PS3, with all PS3s in mind, and work on ALL PS3s.
This is like the tenth ticket I've sent, so I just got real impatient with them.
DUST is so broken, even my PS3 refuses to let me play it.
