Today I ran a faction warfare match on the 4 point map with 3 towers either side of it, I was in my scout suit. Hauled ass to Bravo hack, onto C's CRU, kill 2 get the hack, avoid a tank and then hack C. As I move onto D, I get mauled by a few angry reds.
Overhead map for respawn I notice we have 8-10 snipers, 2 rail tanks and 2 guys on a tower, losing C and B and A hasn't been touched. I battle on for a while killing stealing hacks, gettin killed.
Then the gasket pops, I announce on team comms that "if you are in the hills with a sniper I am coming to kill you, move to the nearest supply depot and change o an assault role"
Head into the hills kill one guy, then BAMMM!! guy on my team pro gal logi with a thales tags me, dead. I spawn ground and catch him half way to the supply depot, and remove his Thales. Ran to supply depot and switch to BPO suit.
He comes after me then this thought clicks through my stupid head, call down tank, he will kill my tank and dissappear from FW for 24 hours.
Thats what happened Looooool

I had something similar like that happen to me. at the start I jumped on a turret, trying to destroy some other turrets and get some easy points. this was the first week of the overhauled FW. then a blueberry tank starts firing at the turret i'm in so i jump out but the tanks stops firing cuz he realized he would team kill me if he did it. then a blueberry with an assualt forge gun starts firing at my LAV before it even touches the ground. i was pissed so I started shooting him a little, then he kills me. I spawned in again and then I pop of a few rounds at him, just to provoke him. he pulls out his assualt forge gun so I stand still so he can kill me in my free suit, which he does. and then I didn't have to see him for the rest of the day. 
Just a merc with a rep tool.
