When a drop uplink is destroyed, or a CRU is hacked ALL pending spawns should be immediately cancelled or blocked. So many times I have destroyed an uplink to have someone appear 2-3 seconds later, with invincibilty.
When a player spawns in he has invincibility, this blocks enemy damage dealt to the player, it should also stop the player from being able to shoot, ******* bullshit that I hack a CRU just to have a guy appear with full auto, finger slammed on trigger, whilst not being able to fight back. TTK on this game does not give you very much time to avoid the full auto damage, espcially when in a scout suit.

Pending spawns are stopped. When someone does show up after the hack/destruction, it is because they either were waiting for their screen to display or they knew an enemy was around and were trying to hide.
The invincibility after spawning is meant to protect the player from being killed before while they are waiting for their screen to load... but it often does stay longer than it should.
In general, CCP needs to redo their spawning system so it is more stable and reliable. We wouldn't even need the invincibility and invisibility if CCP had implemented a spawn system were you didn't have to sit for 2-3 seconds blind after spawning ever other spawn.

Pending spawns on letters are stopped as soon as the hack begins. Pending spawns on CRUs don't stop until after the hack is complete. |

Listen I have hacked a CRU ans 2 seconds later watched a red spawn in. I have killed an uplink, same again. The game allows pending spawns that are staggered by the 5 second long 0secs to complete, even after spawn point is gone. Thats the issue

I've had it hit 0 and take several seconds after to finally put me into the game. I imagine this is a glitch of some sort and where this issue comes from.
Don't feel this is a hacking problem, nor do I see how changing hacks will fix the issue. |
