People have successfully put DUST onto their PS4. And even play it ;) I'm not that tech savy however.

I call BS. How could someone play a game developed for the special PS3 CPU on the PS4? Its like saying you can play Dust 514 in a PS3 emulator on PC.

I love my CECHAxx with upgraded cooling and larger storage. Cant believe how many people kept buying the "new n better" versions as they were released over the years when in fact they are polished turds compared to the first. While many people fried or 'bricked' their systems from various betas.. dust included.. The original systems held strong, or at least mine did.

funny thing too, when you manage to find one for sale.. it still cost the same as a new ps4 haha

One critic point regarding the PS4 and not Dust: I don't know how to get the sound out to use my high quality headphones without buying expensive equipment. I was very easy to do it on the PS3. .

The patch for this will be out in Jan. Till then output it to your SS system. Works well for me. What is the headphone system you are using?

You must have some crazy tax where you live. That aside cross play would not be a problem as it is still on the play station network.

Really the only way to do it properly is to use the same textures and look for both versions, until they are ready to "retire" ps3 compatibility. Then they can crank up the level of detail, to a point that would cripple the ps3.

The very first PS3 in November 2006 was the Model: CECHAxx
It has more USB ports, card readers, more audio out options and could play PS2 games and even scaling them up.

The latest PS3 version released October 2012 was the Model: CECH-40xxC
All it has was a bigger HDD (due to rapid falling storage prices),
but his console was not even a slid in, it became a top loader and looses downward comparability (playing PS2 games) and Linux-comparability installing you own Linux system on the PS3.) As well as card readers and ports.

The equipment and features very removed step by step, to save more money on the production and later to earn money back on hardware.

If you ask me, then PS2 is a very bad game, heavy motivated in P2W, bad balanced and I don't like this "power ranger" looks.
But that is just my feeling.

Yes but why would SONY want to allow direct competition on their brand new console up against their game?

I am not debating which one of the games is better.

There is a rumor, that an upcoming ps4 update will allow you to play downloaded ps3 games in your ps4 meaning that you will be able to play dust in your ps4 (if this happens ccp is lucky as hell)
