Obviously, if you've spent about 2 million skill points on the assault rifle and that only took you months and months of saving, then, yeah, you're really excited about the new announcements of great new things to never have that are almost identical to what you have. I mean, after all, if you spent six months to learn how to put your left shoe on, then it would certainly take at least that long to put on your right shoe, being such a completely different thing. It's great to be rewarded with new exciting things and I can't wait to pay and pay for more new ways to wait and wait and spend and spend for things so uniquely similar.
Surely if they're so similar getting both shouldn't matter? |

Surely if they're so similar getting both shouldn't matter? *sigh* The point he's trying to make is that considering that the weapons are quite similar, it's a little silly that the same SP needs to be spent. Lore answer is that plasma (AR) =/= bullets (CR).
Ok, but only in cases where people are stupid enough to buy the same thing twice.
Either these weapons are so similar that paying twice doesn't make sense and therefore anyone with one doesn't need the other or they're sufficiently different to justify the individual costs. Pick one. |

What I'm trying to say is that they are so similar that a player shouldn't have to spend the same amount of SP to learn them both. Once you max out on one, you should be almost maxxed out in the other. Doesn't that make logical sense?
I see that. It's also logically the case that if you are correct then it can't possibly matter that you don't get both. |
