I know, I just rocked your world, blew your mind, raped your hopes and dreams and drank your coffee.
I'm sorry.
Believe it or not, you can't kill a militia tank with a militia assault rifle. Not even a militia shotgun, or militia grenade. And, for the less mentally challenged, you can't even be killed by militia swarm launchers, or militia forge guns. You don't die to REs on objectives. Your KDR barely suffers from being bad. Your TTK is not 3 seconds. You can kill both vehicles and infantry with impunity, at all times. You can move faster than twelve scouts hopped up on speed, merged together into one super scout. You can survive orbitals. You force the enemy team to switch out to specific fits to counter you.
Militia dropsuits do not require this. I can kill a militia dropsuit with melee from my militia heavy. I cannot melee a militia tank. I don't force prototype gear by spawning as a militia dropsuit. My rewards as a militia dropsuit are directly proportional to my skill as a player, where a free militia tank will earn rewards much higher than what he invested, for killing other vehicles and installations.
Militia dropsuits can't sit in the redline all match negating vehicle play from the enemy. Militia dropsuits don't heal more damage than they take in the time it takes the enemy to reload. Militia dropsuits, believe it or not, don't alter the entire dynamic of the battlefield.
Militia Tanks =/= Militia Dropsuits
Stop being bad. L2logic.

Look at Militia HAV cost - UNFITTED (you know the ones, where you literally have NOTHING except a Blaster or Railgun, and where you actually WILL die to Militia Swarms if you're not stupidly lucky).
Look at Assault Starter Fit cost.
Look at the price of a FULLY FITTED CUSTOM MILITIA SUIT.
You're right, Militia HAVs are different! Who'd have thought...
It's perfectly reasonable for a full Militia HAV fitting to cost 100k ISK or more and to be manned by up to 3 players. 70 - 80k is more likely even before you count the price of the Dropsuits inside. It's also perfectly reasonable for that to get killed at worst, or removed from the fighting at best, by a pair of coordinated Militia AV guys with a combined cost of about 20k (NOT each, TOTAL for BOTH). |

For ~12k I can make a MLT tank go boom.
STD light suit MLT shotgun STD REs MLT/Basic Dampener and Plate
Of course I'm just thining the herd of no so smart ones and I can't beat 3 on 1.
But I do get LOLs
Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.

mlt tanks need a pg/cpu + speed nerf. The expensive fully specced and fitted tanks are right where they should be.
