Hello guys.
Its been some time since I've played Dust514. Being busy with school and teaching and all, plus pokemon, I havent had the time to play. Ive been waiting for the new guns to come out to play again (and see what its like fighting against them). I use the CRW04 scrambler rifle primarily, but when I picked up the controller to play it felt very different from what I remember. Does anyone else feel that the shooting mechanics feel much more different? Or was the Scrambler rifle nerfed? I just cannot get any kills with it like i used to. I usually do 20-30 kills 5 deaths most games, but today I was struggling to get just 5. I do not think it is me because I played for an hour 2 weekends ago and I did fine. Also, I have aim assist on, but I do not feel it at all. I looked in the updates and as far as weapon changes go, it says that they added ads sensitivity, but i do not think that should be the primary reason. can someone explain this to me? |

I also noticed that they changed the operations skill. I also read that somewhere that they increased the hipfire spread? were there any other changes to the weapon since 1.5? |

Like that guy said, don't engage CR users close up for the RR stay in your optimal (under 78m if i'm not mistaken) and fly in and out of cover, take advantage the fact that they have enough time between aim readjusts (when they lose sight of you as you're in cover) and the Rail Rifle's Charge time of 0.25 seconds to land a volley of shots into their center of mass. Put on less armor so you can strafe in and out of cover a bit faster. ScR is all about Alpha damage potential, you do not want to have prolonged engagements, unlike the Rail Rifle where you want to continuously be firing at your target until they are dead. Use cover and let loose a charge shot + volley of 2 to 3 follow up shots and make sure they all count. If you miss, you die. This is also why the ScR is the ultimate 1v1 weapon; if you're smart about cover and positioning they'll be dead before they knew what hit em. Hope that helps
I think I just need to get used to fighting them since they are new.

Ive been gone since 1.5. It could also be the players Im playing with. Playing with Amarr FW and my team gets creamed every time. Its like they dont know what to do. and I have to go in solo to save the team. |
