It feel too boring for my taste now, i feel bad for killing infantry who try their best to take out my tanks, but it only laugh not even having to use it hardeners and it run away to supply it ammunition so that it can repeat the cycle. The whole tanks can only kill a tanks is stupid and what the point of the swarm launcher. It feel that the vehicle tree is more simpler and we lose more modules that made it unique. I miss the old tanking mechanic, i miss being able to activate my repper and hardeners and going in soaking up dmg as i clears the way for my team and when my modules are down and i'm getting pounded i relied on my teammates to take care the AVers as i attempted to make my getaway. I rarely play my tank alt anymore i'm mostly on my ADS alt where it seem the changes make more sense on the dropship i feel strong and weak at the same time. But it seem that i will never be able to cap out that alt never again
Now i wish they never change tanks, but to some they feel that it ok to them, but i guess tanking isn't for me anymore Splinter ops [INACTIVE]

Try hunting tanks with REs. Foolhardy and fun.
I am finding tanks with their hardeners up they are transparent to REs. REs will fall straight through them onto the ground.
Turrent - the sound a tankers pants makes when he finds out the four swarm militia doing squats around him aren't AFK.

Tried it but only mantain to take out one sica with them, i do have adv remote and a proto minnie scout with complex kinetic catalyers but it seem that it not a effective way of av

I also like the old tanking mechanics.....but I like the AV nerfs.
To a Texan like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Gunlogi.

I've had similar issues when hardeners are active, but not all the time. Probably seems to work about 50%. It doesn't help that the slightest movement seems to send REs straight to the ground. |

there are tankers out there who think the way the games are being should stay the same. only the guys that run 6 man tanker squads think that way. if this continues what could have been a good update would turn to be the final nail in the coffin(at least for me). every game you have 6 tanks roaming the battle field. if you blow them up so what? it only cost them around 100k.
I do think tanks are balanced as i can kill most tanks in my AV suit after their reppers are out and they can't get away in time.
There a couple of solutions. here are the ones i like so far:
Limit so only 3 tanks can be on the battlefield. if we had those 34 man teams 6 would be an ok number.
make tanks more expensive. why does my tank only cost 40k than my proto suit? Loss has to mean something. you have nothing to fear if you can lose 3 tanks and still make a profit.
make milita tanks weaker. everyone knows that if you put a hardner on soma or sica it can go toe-toe with its standard counterparts no problem.
We all know CCP is going to do nothing until its too late again but who knows. maybe this new producer actually cares. Every review is the same "this game has a great idea and so much potential but it falls extremely short". mainly because even though the devs have a gold mine of feedback they usually do something 'tarded. they pushed back vehicles for 3 months and still messed up things people were saying would happen.
Everything I say or do has the utmost importance.

I don't even mind standard tanks that much, honestly. Swarms need a buff for sure, but the main issues with TANK 514 are:
Tanks in general are too cheap still. Close, but too cheap.
Militia tanks are broken as ****. Almost just as effective as standard tanks but with longer cooldowns, and you can afford 3-4 per match while staying ISK positive.
There is no risk vs the vast reward of running militia tanks.
Fix militia tanks, fix TANK 514

u could be a dedicated tank hunter like me. it's hilarious how after killing 4 tanks, 2 dropships, 4 lavs, and 3 bolas, the enemy team will stop calling in vehicles. true tankers shine in odds like that ;)
