stop heavy suits(not including the commando) using weapons designed for the "L" slot in their "H" slot
Most Thales snipers have switched to sentinel, and for a scout shooting a guy 3 times with a shotty just to have him turn around and AR/SCR/ASC/RR/ARR/ACR/CR you to insta death is pathetic.

******* joke. To dust is 90% logi slayers using a type of ar, wheres the diversity there.
End of the day there are pathetic bastards sat as far back in the redline as they can go with 1500HP and a Thales, flat out stupid.
Only way I could except heavies with light weapons is giving shotguns 1800 damage per hit a 1m. so many scrubs using sentinel suits with an AR, removes skill on the game, relying on the gun aim for them and the suit surviving for them.

There is barely any diversity in this game to begin with, and doing so would effectively cut the thin line that separates this game from a CoD or Halo clone.
As for the whole Heavy problem your having, have you ever thought about jumping over them and shooting them in the head? then let my scout have an HMG.

Yes, but have you tried doing that 2 times to take their shield, hoping that the shots are counted, then following it up with 2-3 more. All before their ASR insta kills you.

Still no good arguement why they should be able to use other weapons, I'd stop scouts usings AR's if I could also.

Everyone keeps throwing this "diversity" word up.... you realise just about everyone on this game is running around with AR's wether it be scambler rifle or combat rifle, all I see....very diverse

I always find them, either have to risk a nice sniper suit in the open to get em, A dropship and quick kill suit or an OB.
Found one sentinel in the redline once this was his set up: Sentinel suit, Thales, redline, triage hives, ammo hives and a dedicated logi....yes a logi was sat behind him repping. OB took care of that one.
