Found it. Got zoomed in on it by backing up against the wall in the merc quarters.
1. It never clears up to a resolution where individual letters can be distinguished from one another, let alone to the point where you can actually identify any letter in the mass.
2. It's mirrored from one side to the other.
Most likely, it's a faked writing texture with no real meaning. If there was actually an intended text to go there, it's only displayed properly on one side of the Caldari helmet, and is reversed for no good reason on the other side.
There's also a similar line of not-really-text on the back of the Gallente Scout suit, a little below the neck. |
