I think in 1.8 we should be able to shoot Light Weapons and Sidearms if we are a passenger in a vehicle such as an LAV or Dropship. All in favour, show your support.

There's no way you could fire a forge gun from a LAV. Look at how it has to be held, where the handles are. You're not going to be able to do that from a sitting position.
Dropship might support it, but only while all the protetive plates are down. |

Note I said Light Weapons and sidearms, never mentioned heavy weapons should be included.

I'd like more protection in an LAV. Pretty hard to use the LAV like it's supposed to when my gunner sticks out like a bright red target. |

Cool idea, but I'd much rather have all racial content (dropsuits, vehicles and weapons) before we get something like that.
