Might aswell AFK in gallente/minmatar FW

Over the last 4 days I have accrued 14k LP and lvl 4 standings on an alt just AFKing in their FW. Why get crushed for nothing when you can AFK into high standings and good gear for no effort? Watch your back because I might be there.

If you're "going to get crushed", then your team is going to lose, and you wont gain any standing. If on the other hand, it's winnable, then get off your ass and do something. Even if it's in a starter fit.

Yup I've been doing that for a couple of days now. I have about 25ish Federation Madrugar...which I them take to Amarr FW and proceed to use to murder enemy HAV. Shame the infantry are so garbage they can never take any points.... but I claim my fair share of tanks. To a Texan like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Gunlogi. Reference = ISK

Occasionally chip away at the health of your teammates from behind "acccidentally" during intense firefights. Put Nanohives and Uplinks out in the open, where teammates will have to leave themselves exposed to try using them. Go out into the middle of nowhere, find some enemies, then call in a tank and run away. See how far you can sabotage the team's chances. If you do enough damage to turn the tide, the faction you want to see victorious will win. If you're not that lucky, then you'll be able to gain standing and LP. Sure, you're taking a hit to your K/D, but if it helps to balance the teams out better than simply AFKing, isn't that a good thing?
