I do this to redline rail tanks all the time. It's a lot harder than it looks, just don't use first person camera and try to come in on an even plane, just make sure they're busy before you do. Easy kills.
Gorgon costs like 30k, load it up with explosives, switch to free suit, profit. If they're moving at all this becomes vastly more difficult, so it really only works reliably on redline campers.

I should have recorded that match, I just did it about a half hour ago to a gunloggi on Line Harvest. Little bastard thought he was safe on the hill under the MCC on C/D side.

Anyway, wouldn't it be better for the dropship to just hover just above the tank and have another player observing from afar detonate the explosives? Although for greater effect they'd have to be sticked on the low part of the dropship.
The time it takes to get up to them in the redline and close enough, you would die to the redline anyways. Sitting still near a railgun is bad juju, and will likely get you killed. Best to just ram into them to guarantee the kill.

Thanks, that was the first and only music video I've ever made. I mostly just upload standard gameplay to be honest, but I would like to do more. Just RL stuff usually keeps me from focusing long enough. I still need to make a dropship montage, just, haven't gotten around to it lol.
