Yep they should. If a HMG user sneaks up on a tank, the tank should be fk-¦d. Balance.
Doesnt matter in Dust 514: PC. FW Standing. Tanking Type. Other mods than DMG or HP.
Does matter in Dust 514: Rifles.

Yes, this would be a great hard counter. If it was too effective, you could try smaller increments, 85%? Also, the tanks could always just run away, crushing the LAV on the way. As it stands now, infantry are walking points from the HAVs perspective, but the Heavy should be considered a threat.

Uhhh, right now at point blank on amount of fire will even dent the SHIELDS of a Soma.

the hmg has allwas been a great supportr wepon for av but id like to see a proto variant that is specialised for AV maby really high damage with lower rate pf fire like the secondry fire function on the hmg in unreal tournament 3

Haha, no. Nothing wrong with doing 70-100% damage against LAVs, but armored vehicles should be taking little damage from anti-infantry weapons. It's an issue of balance, risk vs. reward, rock-paper-scissors, etc. A weapon that's more versatile must be less effective--nothing should melt faces like an HMG--ergo it must be less versatile. |
