The issue I'm having with the rail is there are plenty of spots in the complexes where their range and accuracy with power can soften me up before they move into CQB, with little loss of power. Still it's more fun now being a waddling fat target.

That's the other change, it wasn't just a damage increase. They reduced it's accuracy by half, and it now matches the reticule better.
