I still prefer my AR to my HMG for general work just because rail rifles are good at all ranges, and combat rifles are pretty nasty. The AR actually lets you fight back.
The fix is nice though if you like being CQC.

II don't know if you've used it after todays fix. But there is such a difference I can never again say that that any of the rifles are better once they are in it's optimal. Yes they have more range than the HMG but they no longer beat the HMG outright in a fight where the HMG is supposed to be king

that 100% of the time statement is a load of crap, maybe somewhere around 65-70%, because every rail rifle that was foolish enough to get into my optimal died to my mh82 as was true for most of the combat rifles

I am thourghly impressed with the fix, this goes a long way to helping the heavy!
One thing I have noticed however, do the hmg rounds slow anyone else down?
I jumped at a heavy earlier, and just before he killed me and sentnme flying 30 feet arse over face, I was stationery in mid-air! Is this intended?
Other than that nice to see heavies thriving in there element!
