Not really, you just have to be facing a canny swarmer.

Remotes are very useful tools. I like to plant em on a a stationary tank, swarm it, watch it run, and then detonate.

Swarmers are still pretty good against Armour HAV since the nerf was only something like 200 points of damage, and now tanks have vastly less overall HP. Its just a matter of catching a tank where you know he is weakest. Actives recharging, in complexes, and by ambush.

Plus aiding friendly tankers doesn't hurt your chances of destroying and enemy HAV.

I've literally just floated above two proto swarms and advanced swarm in my Incubus with my hardeners down, casually shooting at them till about half HP, hitting my hardener, then mopping them up. How a tank dies to swarms in 1.7 is actually 100% beyond my capability to grasp. No one can actually be that bad. I straight up refuse to believe it. I forgo my will save to disbelieve Vids / O7
