Please for the love of everything Minmatar, have some kind of counter in place. I'm all for active cloaking sounds, it will add a lot to the game. I would like to have some kind of equipment maybe a mod that I can put on my logi suit that says, "Hey Bro quit repping there might be a scout getting ready to but a knife in your back.
We logis are squishy as it is. Lets face it the logi repping his crew will be the first to go. Not anything big I'll be happy with a peice of equipment that works like a sonar. Being able to hear the beeping getting quicker would at least give me a chance to panic and run into enemy fire. How broken will the game be when everyone is running around invisible?
The community has some great ideas about new toys. So thank you community. Enjoying the thoughts of having cloaking, bubble shields, webifiers, emp nades, and any other inventions we can come up with to make this game something special. If CCP can keep up the hotfixes/minor tweeks, while at the same time putting out new content monthly, we will be forced to take back 99% of the hate. CCP is going to make us eat our words SOON(tm).

Please explain where you are getting all this CPU/PG from and the extra mods. How do you manage to keep up with the rest of the squad exactly. I run Dia Flux Proto rep or Core Rep, Needle, Triage Hives, uplinks to start then scanner once they are placed. With profile damps, code breaker, armor plates, shield regulator. High 2 damage mods 2 shield extenders. Nades. Fitting all that is close how do you have over 1000HP as a LOGI.
You are a heavy. No way you keep up with assault suits. Mini Logis are squishy plain and simple. If I wanted to be fat and slow I would have skilled into heavies. Where are all you LOGI's at in game. Bc when I die maybe 1/20 times do I get a needle. Hell I played in a few FW the other day. All I did was ran around the objectives stabing dead mercs. Got over 1000 WPs just from reviving! |

We won't be able to shoot whilst cloaked and there will be at least a small delay between decloaking and being able to fire; i.e. the time it takes to put the cloak equipment away and draw your weapon, probably around a second.
Also, scanning is already the counter to cloaks and cloaked people will 'shimmer', so a proximity warning type thing like you request (that would be totally OP against cloaks and entirely negate their use!) is not needed in the slightest.
Yes, I am terrified of scouts! They like to sneak up behind me while I'm repping and send me to my maker. Like I stated before I'm a Mini Logi with codebreakers, profile damps, shield regulator, on occasion. Armor plate. Highs have 2 damage mods and shield extenders. Yes very squishy. I'm not a Logi that pretends to be a heavy sorry. I like to rep those fat turds, but it doesn't mean I want to be one. |
