Personally i would rather have Valkyrie Pilot's being called into help with DUST games and activities ;)

Valkyries (that's what I'm naming them until we get a actual name for our new immortal brethren) will be in space, as we already know. They are also known to fly crafts about the size of fighters in EVE. In fact, they might fly fighters as one of the crafts due to those although being classified as drones, they according to lore, is flown by actual pilots (same for fighter bombers). That means that We could potentially replace them for actual combat for Carrier based combat., or rather add to it by being a stronger class of "drone" and being able to fire on the drones and fighters attacking your home carrier, and going and attacking their own. A War Thunder in space you give you a picture.
Also, there's many ways of having Merc's interact with bunnies. Think about it: faster travel around the systems, mini Ob's, maybe even giving then RDV access and let them give us faster and more accurate dropoffs as an alternative to the ones we have now (maybe they can be in certain gamemodes, and together in some, like in pubs Ai, FW both, and PC only player ran?), and more could be achieved. Even as far as flying a space-able DS and boarding a larger ship, raiding it, looting it, then flying away.
But it can be just a lobby shooter like Dust and make me sad. Well, EVe wasn't built in a ear, and look how it turned out. Guess I'll have to sit on my ass for a couple more years  |

SO because EVE has a lighter that would draw you to believe Dust514 isn't going to get them.
From my point of view it means they might just have something to help them kick start jets on Dust.

I was hoping that the ValkRie fighters would be the equivelents of the 'Fast jets' for Dust
ie. F16s etc (is it F22/F23 these days?).
Where as the Dust Aircraft would be the equivelent of Attack Helicopters, Ground Attack or VTOL jets
Isn't the Dropship the Dust equivelent of this?
not sure if this was the plan with CCP, but its how I would do it....
