Welcome Gallente Assault users to your thread. This is the corner of Dust where we come together and discuss the pros and cons of this suit. Some will say GÇ£it-¦s the worst Assault suit in gameGÇ¥, while others (like me) will say, GÇ£it has potential if you know how to fit itGÇ¥.
This is basically the idea of this thread, to share experiences, fits and all other stuff related to this suit. I don-¦t have many skill points and i-¦m not a closed Beta Vet, but im willing to learn the ways of the Gallente Assault. Lets share our thoughts! I-¦ll go first.
I-¦ve had many acid/sweet moments with this suit. Some games i do great and some others awfull, it feels as if the suit is trying to tell me GÇ£you fragin noob, this fit is wrongGÇ¥ or some other times GÇ£yeah baby, this is the sweet spotGÇ¥, but its tricky cause i get that feeling with the same fit i use, so im not really sure what to change. I-¦ve read some threads about how to fit this suit, but still think the fits could be better.
This is my main fit in a Gallente Assault G/1 Series:
2x Complex Damage Mods. (plus Prof 5)
2x Basic armor plates.
1x Enhanced armor repair. (Will go complex armor repair when getting Gallente Assault skill to 5)
1x Gek AR
1x SMG (Breach Advanced)
1x M1 Locus Grenade or AV Nade.
1x Compact Nanohive. (+50 Armor rep and ammo is sex!)
Im not Proto yet, but i was thinking this is the way to go in the future:
2x Complex Damage Mods (plus Prof 5)
1x Complex Shield Extender
1x Complex Armor Repair
2x Basic Armor Plates
1x Complex (or lower) Armor Plate (The one that does not reduce speed) or CPU Upgrade if needed for Duvolle AR.
1x Duvolle AR
1x Compact Nanohive.
1x SMG (The one that fits up to advanced).
1x M1 Locus Grenade or AV.
Anyway, do you think this next fit would work? Proto Gallente Assault:
1x Complex Damage Modifier. (plus Prof 5)
2x Complex Shield Extenders.
1x Complex Shield Regulator
2x Basic Armor Plates
1x Complex Armor Repair
1x Duvolle AR
1x SMG (Any under proto)
1x Grenade (Any under proto)
1x Compact Nanohive

Yes, i think it will be a good idea to give it a try on long range engagements and keep the Gek-Duvolle on CQC. Thanks for the tip!
