Gallente for two reasons:
Cultural affinity. I relate a lot to a society where Freedom and individualism is the central social tenet. Secondly, given their link to French ancestry, a Romance speaking peoples, I am culturally partial towards anything involving Latin-Europe or Latin-America. |

Minmatar are bad assess, doing so much with just rusty space debris duct taped together.
Also, not too many games have black characters, so I got to take what I can get.
I tried to put a level into Amarr Commando once, but got a server notification saying "Why?"

Amarr for the suits and SR, also it's not an easy win so it has actually forced me to use organised squad work and even sync up with other groups, which doesn't always happen in public matches

The federation picked me up when I was down, I was lost but now I am found. By way of drones and tactful eye, I learned to fly farther than the sky. Then I came back to the grounds, for the federation called upon me saying there was war to be fought over our great planets. That other entities have broke treaties and removed their woven masks to reveal 1,000 snakes. For doing so they have promised me immortality , but I could care not for that. Without the federation I would already have been dead. I owe all to them, and with them my allegiance stands.

I fought for the Gallente militia for some time EvE side
I'm a gallente scout
I haven't speced into any of the new ARs I still use blasters
Gallente have shottys
Gallente have large blaster turrets
there isn't any price difference between a state Gunnlogi and a normal hull and I have access to normal hulls so I just buy them but I ran out of SP to spec fully into blasters so the fed versions allow me to punch above my SP grade.
it was just the best fit for me... also RP crap.

I (would) fight for the Amarr because I use Amarr dropsuits and weapons. I flew their ships in EVE, too. I like the heavily armored visual style, the laser beams, and the way I can pull decent scores using what people argue are the worst weapons and dropsuits in the game.
