yeah...it's pretty pathetic.
What people dont understand is that even though the government is **** people will flock to Gal and Minmatar because of the cultural values, which are independent from the governance.
What the Gallente people value is vastly different from what the Amarr value at a cultural level, same as Minmatar and Caldari.
Unless you're a RPer I dont think anyone is attracted to the idea to live in a strict society the Amarr live in, no matter how "clean" it may be.
The Minmatar society is **** but of course its culturally appealing being the violent dystopian, steam punk, capable of anything, free spirits of the universe.
Unless you have a hardcore religious superiority complex or want the world to be managed under Wal-Mart the other two won't appeal to a console casual players having Role-players or people that don't care what Race they are as they main group for Caldari and Amarr

and No, neither side were responsible, **** just happened. And the Right-Winged government that took over The Gallente Federation was under at the time due to the attack wanted blind vengeance and started conflict and propaganda and dismantling the citizens rights with their intelligence gathering.
Damn, sounds so familiar. (another reason why I was drawn to the Gallente)
Sadly we're still trying to get rid of some of the negative residue from the former right wing.
