Nothing like getting a single roadkill and getting kicked because it counted as 5000 damage. Or calling in an Orbital and having a Super Soma Scrub Squad member nitro into it.

My remote explosives were sitting next to eachother on an enemy tank. His hardener wore off, I popped the RE's and bam kicked from FW because my ******* remote explosive damaged my OTHER remote explosive and vice-versa. Special thanks to CCP for their thorough 1.7 patch. You guys really took your time to get it right.

It only gets you kicked if you jump into the LAV before Ivan releases it. I know, because I've gone into FW matches to try and grief people heh. I let a tank fall on my head and I never got the opportunity to punish the owner. |

I found out today you really don't need to do anything to get FW band
I got in a curbstomp battle where for whatever reason we had a full team and the enemy only had 3 players. Was torn between feeling bad for them and "yay! I might get past standings level 1!"
We were nearing the end of the match, I had no friendly fire incidents whatsoever, didn't use any remote explosives or anything of the sort, barely even fired my weapon. Some friendly calls in a tank, as he's rolling past he somehow gets a team roadkill despite being alone and is booted from the match. Wtf? Well, sucks to be him, game is buggy.
I should have just kept walking. But the longer I stared at the forlorn tank, the more it called out to me. A free tank. Sure, they're absurdly cheap now, I've got ADV dropsuit fits that cost more than a militia tank fit, but it's a free tank. It's just sitting there! I can't let it go to waste and self destruct! It's what the former owner would have wanted, I'm sure of it!
So I hop in, and start driving toward the front line, now that the enemy team finally has players filling in.
I should have just kept walking.
This was no ordinary tank. This foul siren lured greedy mercenaries to their doom, tempting them with visions of conquest and loyalty points, before ripping their hopes right out of their chest, confining them to the brig and resetting their standings to zero.
It was equipped with an mCRU, a fuel injector, and no small turrets. I was too blinded by bloodlust to realize the only possible outcome of that scenario, and what must have happened to the owner. Approximately 15 seconds later, I was back in my mercenary quarters, reading a notification from republic command with a mixture of confusion and denial.
There's no telling how many more mercenaries suffered the same fate at the hands of that tank in that round, deposited at the front lines, empty, calling for a friendly to pop in or an enemy to hack it, promising a mountain of warpoints at no cost.
