What are you guys doing in game that breaks controllers?! Be gentle with them, smashing buttuns doesn't make you run or shoot faster...
Still have mine from 5 years ago. My dog chewed the rubber parts off the analog sticks when he was a puppy, so I replaced them with ones from my old PS2 Controllers. It still works fine, its a bit uncomfortable because the rubber bits don't fit as tightly as I would like them to, but I can live with it.

The first God of War made me twist a controller in half like a Tootsie Roll.
OK, Mister "I'm so strong I can't control my own body". I could do the same, but i don't, its called being gentle with the things you buy because you worked hard for that money, goddamnit.

the rubberish mushroom caps came off, not the hard plastic part, just the coverings...
so trimmed them up and crazy glued them back on...
it happened to 1 first and worked soooo well after that I did it to the other on purpose....
I also took a few pair of rubber palmed work gloves and fitted/cut them to fit on the back side of them...no sweaty palm slip ups anymore....

It blows my mind how people will find a way to troll even a innocent hardware thread and find fault where there really isnt any.
I have been in a particularly foul mood these last few days on the forums. It probably has something to do with my overall dissatisfaction with the 1.7 update.
