"It would be a really nice bonus if when you achieve faction level 10 for any faction you fight for you get the option to receive citizenship for that faction. Citizenship would effectively change your profile picture, merc quarters, and your quarters moved to faction space. I know a lot of people who have had changes of heart when it came to racial factions or made decisions they referred during character creation. I feel the level 10 grind is proof enough of faction loyalty and it's of course not mandatory. I feel this would be a fantastic incentive to keep you going on those slow days."

And really, if CCP wanted to devote some resources towards it, it could also open up avenues of potentially upgraded player photos from the 8 available. Maybe some T2 suits or varied poses. It's small, but it's something players would want to work really hard towards. |

O, I definitely agree. But a change like this is small, light on the programming and something players can strive for easily. Pretty much a home run for work hours/results. I don't know the backend complexities of CCP's code, but it might not be entirely unreasonable to think that one of their programmers could bang this out in an afternoon. |

Haha, you get the pleasure of knowing you've been tied to the faction you wish to represent all along without having to cringe every time you look in the mirror. 
Ultimately I do think additional cosmetic rewards would be a fantastic idea for everyone (particularly player portraits) but for now this requires no new art assets and should be a pretty quick change from a programming standpoint. We can get crazy with it later. |

This would be to CHANGE citizenship. Like if I didn't want to be a Gallente anymore so I fought for Minmatar instead until I hit faction level 10. Then I could change my citizenship over to become a Minmatar citizen. |

Hah, yeah you nailed it on the art being enormous. Ultimately I'd LOVE to have things like that introduced but for now let's not pull resources away fro cosmetic purposes and get the things we NEED in this game added in. So (for the time being!) just changing to the other racial quarters. |

I'd work my butt off at it if I could swap to Amarr. Something about their design philosophy just really resonates with me and I wish I had a chance to explore that a little further when I made my character. Instead I was just like "O, these guys are democratic, they must be the space heroes. So... I'll pick whatever this 'G' word name is." Can't say I still feel the same way about them.

My corp plays Caldari, too. Honestly not that bad when you bring a squad with you. Usually the Gallente don't even expect you to put up a fight at all.

But, yes. Ability to change merc quarters in the future please.
I still haven't SEEN what the Amarri quarters look like. Anyone have any pictures of it? The other three I've seen but that one eludes the internet.

I think racial quarters specifically shouldn't be a faction/citizenship thing, but rather we'd ideally be able to choose where we want to live as you sort of can in EVE. Also, we don't have negative standings in Dust that I've noticed, so that's another element that's unexplored I guess.
But then you limit those who can ever accomplish this to those who have been grandfathered in with BPOs. It's really not a solution.

Haha, same here. If I could repick my race right now I'd go Amarr without a second thought. Those quarters are just so... gorgeous. The floor so shiny. The color scheme so luxurious. But I was a brash young merc who didn't know better when I picked what would wind up being my least favorite race.
A close friend of mine is also Gallente with a Caldari quarters. When I'm over his place I get to at least see how the fortunate live in that spacious room. But it's still not even close to the Amarr, for me.

Alright after finally getting to FW level 5 and seeing the daunting 45 wins ahead of me just to hit 6 maybe it should be level 8 grants citizenship, with the two levels ahead of it giving different vanity bonuses.
Just spit-balling an example of what would be offered:
Level 5: You can choose use the racial assault or logi your Merc picture (as opposed to the racial medium)
Level 6: Racial Scout as Merc Picture
Level 7: Racial Sentinel or Commando as Merc Picture
Level 8: Citizenship! You can now swap to this race and if you were not previously the race all the lower unlocks are now available to you, plus a change of merc quarters and station location, and starter fits.
Level 9: All racial prototype suit pictures are unlocked to choose from.
Level 10: The background imagine behind your merc becomes the icon of your race. Ultimate bragging rights.
This rewards people who fight for the race they started as slightly ahead of everyone else who needs to work harder to earn those rewards, but keeps everyone on the same page eventually.

I fight Caldari, myself . Trust me, getting to 5 has been difficult to say the least! I'd love the day I can swap out from this race if at all possible. Something about the Gallente just rubs me the wrong way.
