The game has been AR 514 for well over a year. Apparently that's the game that CCP wants to make. Frankly, I don't know why they bothered coding most of the other weapons. Either way, it's not the game that I signed up for either.

Implying you live longer against other weapons. Ttk in general is way too short for a game with a complex fitting system like that of dust.

What "other weapons"? The only other weapon that has a fast TTK that probably shouldn't is the smg, everything else fits pretty good along the lines of what it's supposed to do.

Generally speaking if you're taking more than 2 whole seconds to kill your opponent with your rifle, either you're really really bad, or they're really really good. (or they have someone repping them)

It's simple math. Apply headshots for taste.

CCP has been quoted to be working on the HMG, patience they just released the biggest patch they have launched since Uprising 1.0. Suit's and gun's in general need a rebalance. But i would rather the Heavies get their Gallente Heavy and Minmatar Heavy suits and Scouts get their Amarr and Caldari suits. The Heavy get their Heavy Laser weapon and Heavy blaster weapon and heavy rail weapon..... We keep crying about nerf this gun buff this gun for over a year and we have just wasted a year going in a giant circle... let's add all the items that where intended then let's worry about some gun balancing.

I have been rolling a high damage high hitpoint fit on a proto amarr heavy suit and even with 600 shields and nearly 900 armour I still go down like a sack of poop. I miss how it was. Right now I find the game is vastly more fun and engaging as a tanker.

How can an assault scrambler rifle tear through my 500 armor in less than 2 seconds? Shields I could understand, but it's a laser weapon.

Its a nice idea but very impractical with how hard it already is to aim a hmg. Also heavies shouldnt be invincable but we should be able to withstand concentrated small arms fire and we can't. We spend even more sp on our suit than any other class and we get shafted. Rather than making the SP sink the drawback we pay for the suit in limited mobility as well.

I have 19 Million SP in Infantry but I found myself speccing into tanks now because I want my fitting to actually matter. Doesn't matter if I use Complex Shield Extenders or militia extenders. Same goes for infantry armor. I can barely take any hits anyways.
