it is an exploit currently. My corp is logi heavy. We use uplinks and hives too. No hives need to be by a supply depot. What is happening and what you are defending is a frame rate drop caused by spamming equipment. This must be the meta you all take so much pride in. we can tell when its getting to be to much equipment on the field. At this point you can employ reppers and use up the links. Not hard, it sounds like you are one of the guys that continues to contribute to an overall broken mechanic. That's your choice, what will you do when and if they gimp your signature move? I know it won't hurt us one bit.

Frankly, as a Director for Subdreddit, I personally endorse any and all cheap, stupid, pointless, ridiculous, irritating, hilarious, and/or obnoxious actions undertaken by our guys. This game is a casual put-put course of an FPS with a disturbing lack of content and ****-poor game mechanics. If you're worried about serious competition and honor, go play an FPS that facilitates such things. If you're gonna play Dust 514, prepare to be trolled, abused, irritated, and hopefully ultimately amused.
When someone receives hate mail and posts it in our private forums, I send them a bonus.

You have to understand that we have hundreds of members in Subdreddit, so I'm not just going to authorize a 35 MIL ISK expensive for a grudge match between a few of our guys and some tryhard crybabies.
As far as qsyncing, why would any of our people want to be subjected to playing with the sort of people who send hate mail every match and cry on the forums about nonsense like this?
So, we're talking about wasting corp funds, or wasting our guy's time. Neither of which I'm particularly motivated to get behind.
As far as equipment spam is concerned: take it up with CCP. I'm not aware of any of our guys caring enough about winning to intentionally "exploit" the problem. I can't say for certain, but I have to assume it was unintended. Regardless, even if it was intentional, I couldn't care less considering how many glorious tryhard tears it ended up harvesting. This game is WAY to casual and broken to ever warrant the sort of reaction your goober corpmates had. |
