I don't know about you but these scrub tankers are starting to **** me off. I've loaded a few ambushes where three tanks (that I could easily kill) are circling the spawn location(another huge problem), preventing me from even calling in my tank.
So, I was thinking "hey, this is new mother ******* Eden. Instead of just crying about it on the forums,why don't I do something about it?"
The vision: I'm am putting squads of full tankers(or smart av) together and taking them into ambush to ONLY hunt tanks. Shooting infinity is a big no no. Rail and missile turrets only.
How you can help the cause:
Join the chat channel "tank bam"
Tell honorable tankers and pro av about our mission
Give me *dr evil voice* one MILLION isk... jk

I notice a large percentage of the tank complaints centre around ambush. As such I tend to ignore them. If you don't want to get raped by tanks, play a game mode with a deployment and supply depots.

As a dedicated tanker I do loke to see more vehicles on the field , but tank spam is getting well funny to be honest if I come up against a team who tank spams I bring out my tank killer gunlogi and 2 shott their mlt tank ass . syd tanks however I do enjoy a close up fight with my missiles and or rail .

If the enemy team has decided to call in tanks in Ambush, it's over. You really should have done it first if you want to win. Watch your afterthought tank go down in flames as Bolas after Bolas is blown out of the sky by proto railguns hopped up on damage amps!

1) I never said I was elite just not a scrub that decided to drive tanks because they are no longer paper armoured turrets.
2) a scrub to me is anyone that hasn't lost 1.5 mill to invisible swarms.
I've been tanking for over a year. I'm sorry I feel that warrents me a little staus compared the hundreds new tankers with no sp invested. |

so far the only viable and reliable av i've heard mentioned is tanks....that's ******* it.
hear a lot of people talking about their forge guns like they can handle tanks but I never see it happen, 6 tanks trolling every match. |

Why no blasters? I downed 5 tanks last night in a match with a Soma, another 4 the next match, and 2 Fed Maddy across the night..... and barely picked up any infantry kills.
To a Texan like you, a hero is some type of weird sandwich, not some nut who takes on three Gunlogi.

never been an AV specialist, but for getting gud at tanking. nerf proof gud, not FOTM gud it's a lot more about knowing when to drop a tank than anything else.everything else is easily enough learned through trial and error, and running free fits like their going out of style to fund all this.

It will be a mix of tanks and av working together. All I'm asking is for the av to be able to shoot the same tank I'm shooting and not do it while running out in the open like a moron.
Specific tactics very on the av/tank mix of the squad. |

Im a tank spammer. And i wont stop until i can solo with my 22 MILLION SP AV character at LEAST 1 MLT tank of 0 SP invested. Or tanks prices increase, Or they receive a great speed nerf...or SOMETHING changes....

I want tankers and av to work together.

Honestly i couldn't really care what it is, but if you say something is overpowered based on people using it in an Ambush match, then your opinion is not only idiotic, but irrelevant.
Though I don't even get why somebody would want to tank in ambush to begin with. They are usually enclosed city maps where Scouts can easily place RE's on your hull, and when it's not a city map it's a wide open field where you don't have any Supply Depots, and somebody can easily call in a Railgun to wreck you.

I was up against a team that decided to call about 6 tanks in. I called my rail tank in and legend (who was on my team) called in a missile tank. 2 minutes later no tanks left on the enemy team, even the tanks they kept calling in blew up before touching the ground

This 1.7 Tanks spam has kept my Forge Gun Very busy, there has been some matches where I start and stop with Forge because of the amount of tanks,
and as soon as I blow 1 up, they get dropped back in at redline,
like I stated before, 7 tanks in 1 DOM is crazy for 1 forge to get.
so I am with you brothers to destroy these scrubby tank spammers,
I make it my honor to destroy every SOMA I can.
ive made scrap metal of so many tanks since 1.7 has dropped, and I can definetly tell the difference between scrub and true tankers.
I enjoy a good Forge/Tank fight. these scrubs suck, even with the speed and hardener increase they just let me drop them with my Proto Breach Forge, Prof 5, 2 complex Dam mods!

But when CCP said they were using data based on tanks in ambush, infantry didn't say a word against it, that that would be a terrible idea and a terrible way to balance tanks for Uprising.
