Pilot suit tab and "full range of dropsuits soon, not SoonGäó..."
Wow. 2 seasons passed still falls under either version?
But, thanks for the untested knee jerk vehicle balance attempt. Totally worth it... (That's sarcasm, in case it didn't translate well.)

I seriously think they need to scrap the pilot suit and come up with something else. Augmenting vehicles further will not end well.

Logistics suit == pilot suit
Makes more sense than a fricking light suit.
Doesnt matter in Dust 514: PC. FW Standing. Tanking Type. Other mods than DMG or HP.
Does matter in Dust 514: Rifles.

But, they have had thousands of suggestions (and a few good ones) representing hundreds of thousands of hours of gameplay experience and ignored or scoffed at all of them. They would rather go by the rules and suggestions of a Dungeon Master's Guide than that of actual experience.

What was a player suggestion?
I can see where some of it could have been derived from player input, but the level at which it was executed was a reflection of poor decision making, a lack of accountability, and proper testing.

The commentary was more about how sloppy and incomplete they are with old ideas before moving on and ruining some other aspect of the game.

Who cares how much work they put in if it's all **** work?
And, tracking data and stats to come to a conclusion is a fouled idea, since their stat trackers have been proven flawed time and time again since Open Beta.

A biscuit gains valor by sacrificing itself and allowing gravy to be poured on it. By sacrificing itself, it prevents the other biscuits from suffering the same fate. |

Players as a rule hate fighting things they cant kill. Dust very design genrates unwinnable encounters as Its minute to minute gameplay with a punishment of trying to do somthing about it or withdrawing to a more favourable encounter.
So pretty much the opposite of eve-online where u can both pick your fight or withdraw saving u isk if it does not go ur way.
So what im trying to say is the core designs of Dust514 are setup in a way that are complety counterproductive to encourging teambased actions or enjoyable balanced encounters

team based actions are the REASON there arnt balanced encounters....
if everyone was running around like lunatics as infantry most encounters would be balanced (not counting personal skill)
its the team thing thats aparently destroying the game for you
i suggest you overtake your hatred of teamwork and use it yourself, bringing balance back to those encounters :P

How would the pilot suit even work? Add dropsuit modules that affect vehicles? Why, so pilots have to skill vehicle AND dropsuits. Would they even hve weapons on their suit? If you are a pilot without a vehicle, something is wrong. Additionally, if you were to ground fight, wouldn't you use a better combat orientated suit anyway. |

The whole idea of the pilot suit was ill conceived and I pray that it gets scrapped in favor of another infantry variant, so each frame has 2 to work with.

But, yeah, skills and a specific suit seems kinda dumb. Unless they were unarmed (maybe a sidearm?) and were the only way to occupy a gunner's seat - which would be a nice fix to the vehicle lock situation.

Funny you said that, I suggested making the commando a medium frame instead of a heavy. Since they don't work as being heavy. |

I'm actually going Proto Commando next time I'm in the game. I think they need a slot added to each tier and maybe the ability to carry 2 grenade types (flux, locus, or AV - not 2 of the same) to make them the equivalent of a FatLogi.

Maybe add 1-2 more module slots across tiers
Buff movement speed.. a lot.. but keep the big hitbox, ****** shield regen, no grenade, massive base melee damage.
