I call BS. Link us to this magic controller or post a video of you using it on Dust. At the moment you're starting to sound as ridiculous as the guy who claimed his controller let him jump twice as high as a scout in a heavy suit. No controller can change a game hosted server side rather than client side.

None of the things that controller can do can circumvent game mechanics, such as the need to spend time spooling up the RR every time you release the trigger. These kinds of modded controllers function entirely of automatically triggering button presses really quickly upon a single button press, for example to make you crouch and shoot almost instantaneously. There is no combination of button presses that will shorten or entirely circumvent the spool up time on the RR, so it is not possible to do so with a controller. The controller can not tell the game that the RR has already spooled up because that calculation is not performed client side; rather the controller tells the server that the trigger has been pressed and starts the spool up timer and sends a message to your PS3 to tell it that the weapon has been fired. In order to fire faster than the set ROF on a weapon, the controller can tell the server that the button has been tapped and released continuously really really fast but with the RR every time the server is told the trigger has been released, it will reset the spool up timer.
Things like quick reload controls are reliant on the fact that many games have animation cancelling but this has mostly been removed by CCP. For instance, pre1.6 you would have been able to have constant scan, whilst being able to shoot because the controller would have cancelled the scan animation before it completed but the scan would go through. Or you could have done an instant crounch/stand to undo the overheat on scrambler rifles. Fortunately, both these workarounds were patched out in 1.7 and there is no longer any way to cancel those mechanics early.
It's also important to note that many of the functions listed for that controller are specific to COD or BF games, so will not automatically be possible for Dust514. For example, on the subject of the auto-aim features, it seems that those descriptions relate to games where auto-aim only occurs when ADS, so the controller just taps the ADS and fire button really quickly, however this is not how AA works in Dust514 because the AA is always active and not only ADS.

that was until I was on the ground next to him bleeding out (you can control the camera that way) and saw his T1 sniper rifle firiing as fast as a Tamsen.
I've seen a video of where somebody created a program to play the PC game for him.
it had auto-lock and auto-shoot features, it could see people through walls, it turned enemy's red which is known as a skin-hack or camo-hack. combined with modded rate of fire.
I mean COD: GHOSTS was hacked DAY ONE on the PS3.
If you people think that NOBODY uses modded controllers on this game, you're wrong.
if you can compete, somebody will cheat! i just made that up. You can't hack Dust514 because the calculations are all done server side; those games where people could do those things have the calculations done client side, so you can alter the software to be able to make that stuff possible. As previously stated, you can't change Dust's game mechanics with any program or controller - you can only use a controller to take advantage of quick actions like rapid firing to negate dispersion or insta-crouch-shoot-stand to increase aim on the move.
People may well be using modded controllers in this game but not for the vast array of things that a lot of you seem to think.

Calvin b - you continue to preach this stuff and ignore all the rebuttals I've thrown at you, not even attempting to give reasonable answers to what I've said several times in this thread. You have not shown a thread of evidence that any modded controller can actually do the things you have stated in Dust514, which is a very different game to CoD or BF or most other shooters both in mechanics and architecture (mainly that it is a server side game).
Until you actually own one of these controllers and have concrete evidence (not just taking the word of the manufacturers) that your claims are possible, please stop scare-mongering.
