tell me whats are the days in DUST that you miss. (NOT A QQ THREAD)
I miss when i could take pride in my tank getting blown to ****, the days when i felt pride in having the changas to bring a tank onto the field and being the only tank on the field. (1.4 - 1.6) ahh memories... 44 killstreak. (45-1) (1.5) |

I miss how I felt the first few months I played this game, when it felt awesome and I was excited for a real connection to eve, and I didn't use the forums yet.
those were the good'ole days.
CCp's newest joke, making setting off your own remote explosives in FW FF... awesome job ccp.

Pretty much everything about Chromosome, but I would then miss some of the new weapons.
Anything before 1.6. That's where this game went to hell (I don't remember much before that :3).

I miss when dropships were perfect (although that was also when HAVs were so OP the ones we have now look fine)
They took a good deal of skill to fly, because they handled much differently. Despite this, an experienced pilot could work magic.
Missiles were the only viable small turrets, but that's still kindof how it is.
Dogfights were always good back then, and people had far more confidence to spawn on dropships, making them a good way to flip objectives.
However, we had an even worse issue with people jumping out than we do now; I don't think MCC spawns existed yet, so a good chunk of the community didn't know about profile dampeners, and were hesitant to jump from high altitudes.
Right now, dropships are pretty damn good compared to previous builds, but giving the old handling back would be even better.
Edit: almost forgot, whenever I was really having fun, the game would crash, and I would lose my dropship. Still worth it.

I miss swarm shottys, bullet time scouts, vehicle piles, doom heavies.
the only one I really want back is doom heavies, tho swarm shottys that can't be used for AP would be nice to. |
