because the Forge gun is a Caldari weapon not an Amarr weapon
I used to pilot HAV's then I took a forge gun to the knee, but now forge guns do nothing to HAV's........

LP stores are stupid because you can't just fight for your faction, you have to fight for the faction that has the majority of the equipment you use.
Be glad you can even get an LP forge gun, I can't buy Assault Dropships with LP so FW is dead to me

You can only purchase things in the specific race's LP store if it was made by that respective race.
It's the same reason why you won't find Scrambler Rifles in the Minmatar LP store.
Because that race didn't make it.
DUST 514 just went full COD.

The same reason you don't have Republic Scrambler rifles or Imperial Assault Rifles. They don't manufacture the base weapon, therefore they don't manufacture the LP weapon.
If Ford makes the Mustang, why would Chevrolet make the Mustang GT Edition? |

Yes, you would need to purchase it from the Caldari Faction Store

LOL i just don't get why they would just deficate on heavys like that. the only thing they gave heavies since forever was sentinel and armor buff. Thats it. Now they make it extremely hard to take out vehicles with the speed burst and the nerf on the charge rate for the forge gun and you are telling me you can't just put the forge gun in the Loyalty Store? you have the boundless, but not the forge gun. WoW. I rarely see heavies in pub matches anymore, muchless, Pc matches.

You guys don't read all the posts I guess, before they actually released all the FW info before 1.7 dropped I believe it was soxFour posted an example about some of the options that would be available in the faction stores for LP.
One of those items was the Imperial Assault Forge Gun, and yes I agree, it should be state and through Caldari instead.
With that said I think the original idea was to put it with the only heavy suit out there.

nope, don't see anything about that. All i see about the forge guns in 1.7 was the nerfing. Thats it. If you see anything that goes on your view, feel free to paste a link.

I agree where are the State Forge Guns and State Nova Knifes? Looks like they were left out on this build. Also in regards to "Imperial Forge Gun" if they just wanted it to be with the only Heavy suit in the game as of right now why would they put the Heavy Machine Gun in the Matar LP store. I think it was just a typo as the forge gun is a Caldari weapon after all. |
