I think you're missing the point. The hives, may not be the kind of hives you'd normally see.
They actually repair your armor  Shocker right?

I know about triage hives, they are the one exception, but they could also be more usefull elsewhere, shocker right? |

the people who do this usually cap the objective first. That's why we hardly see it in games where we hold an objective the whole time. If you are not one of these guys, you will notice it never happens until they cap the needed amount of objectives. |

Ehh it depends. I look at it this way, is saving the idiot blues on our team worth potentially losing my 150K logi suit? Occasionally I put them places, Occasionally I don't. I don't really see the problem, who does it hurt?
Equipment lag is a thing of the past since it's not rendered if you're past 30 meters or if you have line of sight with a few exceptions.
