Stop putting nanohives next to the supply depot, that's the one place on the entire map that we don't need them, place them throughout the map. place them at objectives so that we have ammo when we defend them, place them in buildings so we can use them as bunkers, don't be lazy and drop them all in one spot, spread them out so that everyone has access to them
the same goes for uplinks place them in tactical locations all over the map so we can spawn into the places we need to go. |

I'll thrown down more proto hives (far away from a supply depot) if you support the LP nanohives thread (see feedback section). |

They're not doing it to intentionally cause lag (generally); they're doing it because it's easy WP since you're guaranteed to get resupply points any time anyone goes towards the supply depot. It's also the easiest place to drop a load of nanohives/uplinks and switch suits to drop even more of different types instantly. Also, they're not always ammo hives - especially in ambush, holding position around a supply depot is vital and a huge bunch of triage nanohives will give you much better chances against attackers.

Back when Supply Depots were killed early and fast I would spam all the types of hives and links asap. It was my own little supply depot for the team.
I will do this still if I notice the enemy is destroying the depot. |

I know why they do it, they should put them in other locations so that we can get ammo all over the map and not have to go to the supply depot, they could put a bunch of triage hives and uplinks at an objective that doesnt have a supply depot and help the team tremendously instead of being lazy and doing whats easy |

Needs to be a limit on euipment deployed in a match, per player, per squad and per team. A fully stocked logi can drop upto 65 pieces of equipment (19 hives, 20 uplinks, 26 explosives). CCP have a complete brainfart of a solution stated in their dev blog, stating that changing cpu/pg cost of equipment will stop this. On my logi I have switch out suits designed for spam, they have a weapon becuse they have to, other than that they're just empty dropsuits other than, hives, uplinks or explosives.
As for supply depot spams, maybe they should add a no drop zone around them, nothing worse than taking 30 seconds to change a dropsuit out at 2fps.

The reason why people put uplinks and nanohives near supply depots is for 2 reasons. The first is to lagg the game out. And it does this quite well if enough people do it. But, that isn't the only reason. The main reason why people do this (in my opinion) is because they want to farm WP. When people need ammo, where do they run? To the supply depot. And sometimes if enough people run to the supply depot, it actually runs out of ammo. I know, this is absurd, but yes this actually happens. So when you throw your hives down at the supply depot, people can STILL get resupplied. This effect will double in speed if the supply depot is actually dishing out ammunition. It's like an instant resupply.
Also, if you can't handle where someone else puts these hives and uplinks, then go **** off and do it yourself. You pizzacrap.

They get FREE WP from aanyone who walks through them withhout risk to isk loss. One person staarts, everyone follows. Got so pissed one day, dropped 25 uplinks there 'lab'. Lag is unbearable.

Healing nades near Supply Depo are fine imho. A lot of people come here to change fit. Most time their hp isn't full wich give us triage points. Also it's good against lame snipers hunting for easy kill when We change dropsuit. Most logis got healing nades as standard eq so those near Sd should disappear sooner or later. |

everyone is missing the point, which is people need ammo at the other objective that don't have a supply depot, then they can't defend the objective they have to leave when they run out of ammo because scrubs want easy wp's and want to lag the map |

here is an idea for you lazy scrubs, get a LAV, go to the supply depot, get your nano hive suit, drive to another objective, put down some hives for the blues that are defending, then drive back and get another suit and put some more at another objective, now the team has access to ammo in more than one spot, try being a reall logi and go out of your way to support your team instead of being a uplink lag spammer |

so you are advocating two scrub tactics, you are saying that lagging the game is effective and good, farming for easy WP's is good? |
