In FW WP's don't matter because there is no warbarge strike.
Destroying turrets is useless. Hack them, so that they can kill other enemy tanks. I've seen numerous unmanned turrets kill tanks.
I've used numerous Installations to kill tanks, rail seems to be most effective though.
Keep them alive, you never know when they'll strike, but it is risky, if the enemy hacks it, then your tanks are in trouble, just hack it back as quickly as you can, or at that point destroy it.

Once we get the option to deploy and outfit our own I would be in favour of removing pre spawned ones throughout the active map, but also I would like for my soilder to physically get inside the turret!
Even if you give him like a seat he can sniped out of, I think being shot whilst controlling the turret is a bit unfair!

We used to kill the MCC with the null cannons and assists from the Turret installations, they don't seem to have lost much if any of their DPS from that time, so I really don't see why people have gotten in the habit of destroying them. Best OP weapon ever if you can find one in the right spot and have a battle buddy to protect you backside while taking on tanks, infantry and the like.

All it takes is their laser accuracy and massive damage.
I will ALWAYS kill turrets, even if they give me -50 or something equally BS.

Turrets are far too large of a threat to be left standing. Best to just kill them asap, take your 100 points, and save all the blueberries that would have been blapped when a red sneaks behind your line and hacks it.

VD, and N1ck are on point with this. I don't understand why people want the AI and dmg nerfed on turrets...it makes them relevant to the game now and that pretty cool.
I've been seeing folks fighting over turrets in key spots lately just because they are excellent options for infantry to use against vehicles...probably how they were originally intended to be used. |

I remember a Blaster turret caught me in open ground, there was no cover, and I decided to try strafe towards it, using my Minnie Assault, I danced like hell, I got to the turret, safely, with no damage recieved.
