Having been one of the 4 he mentioned (in his video), I feel the need to respond since he lied and left some stuff out... Sorry for grammar and/or misspellings, I am on my phone
Here was our party:
myself (proto min logo, proto min assault with 20+ mill sp)
Bobthe843cakeman (tanker)
DJINN Maverik (tanker who had 0 points after refund and was trying a tank from Bob to see if he wanted back in the tank game)
GVGMode (tanker)
so... Here is the gear I started out with:
Advanced min assault suit with RS-90 Combat Rifle and a mixture of non-aurum mods... I switched to prototype after my 3rd death (was 8/3 at the time) because I could kill one or two of his protostomping friends he brought with him, but could take them all on at the same time. I switched to proto min assault with a boundless Cr and a syndicate submachine gun (maybe this was the aurum he referred to? Definitely wasn't the suit or anything else... And why complain about a bpo smg?)... I proceeded to take his whole team on and killed all of them in a 5v1 that bob watched. So... Where was the aurum? The tankers used market available tanks... And I used easily available suits from the market and only switched to proto to even the field with his corps protostomping. By the way... I forced them out of proto and they went to basic. I ended the match 23/5 and CEOPyrex was 4/8, having to switch out of proto around 5 or 6 deaths.
As far as 21 deaths, yes, we had that many... I died 5 times and bob died once to Pyrexs forge gun... The other 15 were from the beginning of the match when a scout by the name of XCJ3 carrying a needle and a shotgun killed maverik 8 times and bob 7 in a team killing frenzy. If Pyrex wanted to show this, he could post the video... But it would make his elite team of proto pubstompers appear foolish as they got stomped out... At least speak the truth instead of using us as a whipping boy for your own agenda. AE does a lot of good for the PC corps out there (selling districts, ringing for free for small corps, and even letting people in PCs to hear us play), but at least we don't tax our members at 4% and then sit on a large corporate wallet without giving it out or doing PC... If we did, then our name might be The Unholy Legion... |

I think tanks are on their way to being balance but not yet. The best counter to tanks is another tank right now and it should not be that way. Why not show us the balance you speak of from AV perspective?
Not having a good tanker in your squad is more foolish than not having an AV fit now... |

tank is more versatile... Blow up cannons, can solo defend a point, and can blow up enemy vehicles... Try to do all that while running AV. Plus tanks have the added benefit of travel at speeds approaching, and breaking, Mach 1... So they can get in and out faster than a ground troop ever will be able to.
unless you're. Playing Grand Theft Auto 514 and running around with an LAV... And who would ever do that...  |

+1... That argument mixed with the misleading video about AE and his own post about AE just makes me lose complete respect for him. Well, that and he puts us on blast for isk farming, or whatever his point was supposed to be, but runs his own corp with a 4% tax and does what with the wallet...? If I was in his corp, I would have cashed out by now... What incentive does one have if the money earned is not going directly into the hands of those helping to earn it? |

AE is so srs bizness, we dropped 3 orbitals on our own team in PC to troll them |
