how about a LMG type weapon that allows us to walk and run slighty faster...im talking like 2% faster (maybe 5)
smaller clip (200 rounds) and less RoF (prob 800-1000)
gives heavies a little more diversity as far as not being stuck with a FG or a HMG. we can still perform our roles as point holding area denial, suppressive fire (if thats ever implemented) with none of the draw backs on the HMG (barrel heat-up, tiny dot in a large reticule, barrel *flare* while shooting, long reload time, etc)
dmg per round and range can b figured out, im sure. but it shouldnt differ from the AR very much (assault rifles only. not gonna try to say the LMG should b like the RR, CR, or SR)

yes. but it should be more accurate than the HMG
if u are comparing them to ARs, tho, i can see less accuracy than an AR, but higher RoF. and higher dmg.

i dont want anymore role-specific weapons, personally. we're limited in the 'role-specific' category as is.
give us something with some flexibility
