Sometimes, I wonder, why some of them bother posting as if there opinion mattered. Thankfully - they're not all like this. But some, like Zaria, are falling into a bad habit of looking for ways to get carried by broken mechanics.
SMH, they are not invincible, and how exactly is it my fault CCP decided to make REs sticky? Just because CCP changed them I'm now not allowed to use them? LOL suuuuure. I spent the first day after the patch going mental over the fact that my REs weren't working, as in, I saw and heard the explosion, but the person hacking took no damage, we even lost objectives in PC because of that. So thankfully someone way smarter than me showed me where to place REs if I actually want them to work.
I'm still finding more places where they actually glitch, as in, don't do damage, and am adding those to the the bug report. I am terribly sorry if you feel that not being able to throw a locus grenade in the general direction of the objective to clear REs is "a broken mechanic"... carry fluxes? Except, yeah, those don't always kill equipment either, because CCP is terribad.
I've been killed by REs on objectives I've fluxed, my first reaction certainly wasn't to cry about cheating, it was curse out CCP and their inability to make a working game without gazillion bugs. But I know a lot of people in this game aren't like that, for many it simply is natural to assume anyone who is beating them has to be cheating in one way or another, or if something weird happens in game, it's the other side causing it, never just simply the game being weird. v0v But that's what these forums are for, I guess, baseless name calling and trashtalking, at least that seems to have become their main purpose. Oh well, carry on, the meta says AE has never accomplished anything without cheating, and if the meta says so, it must be true.
Have you considered installing the improved keyboard?

Thank you for admitting that you might have been mistaken 
I have been testing REs to figure out where they work and where they don't, as it is really frustrating to watch someone get a hack they shouldn't have because the REs didn't do damage. It is also impossible to test them properly in pubs, thus I've been trying to do it in FW... however can't do as much testing as I'd like, as me or a squadmate destroying my own REs apparently counts towards the damage done to friendly equipment >.< Well, anyway, I've yet to run in to a place for REs that makes them "indestructible" though I have seen them do weird things v0v
And yes, there are places for REs where they usually are shielded from badly placed fluxes. Been the victim of that myself before.
