Sadly, it only if they are stupid enough to hang around and try to get ya.
Got 2 AUR ones in a match last night and a maddy. Only got 250,000 isk for the match though :/
lost 4 proto suits and swarms so I was out around 150,000 isk(not to mention the suits I lost I lost before I switch to AV fits)
Good tankers know to bug out once they get hit with the first flux.

If you're close enough to flux, you're close enough to RE. RE+AV grenade is better than swarms IMO. |

They never stand still enough to get more than 1 flux grenade off. You need about 5-6 straight fluxes assuming they have instant 2k shield regen in order to start digging into their armor. |

The RE/AV tactic only works for tanks that roll up on your team. Ideally while they are blasting away, you sneak behind, plant three REs on their backside, then AV three times. Detonate your REs and bye bye tank.
But if you're doing well just with swarms, go for it. The RE technique is better suited for logis anyhow, and if I recall correctly you usually run scout. |

Everyone is still hugging onto their Locus grenade old FOTM's...
Once a majority of Merc's start packing AV grenades like Chromosome... tanks won't be able to sit idle close to any group of infantry.
The adjustment is happening ever so slowly people are realizing it. |
