But the CR is OP as ****... I've been trying to convince regynum that the CR is way more OP then the ScR But both are broken, honestly. the burst CR is very mean to heavies lol, but assault CR is honestly very balanced. i think its good to have a weapon to counter japanese gal logi 750 armor noobs.

RoF needs to be reduced for the imperial version, otherwise it's fine.
Yeah, sure The ScR doesn't need a turbo controller to drop people stupidly fast, just like the TacAR of early Uprising didn't need a turbo controlled to drop people stupidly fast. Not saying no one uses a turbo controller on it, I'm sure there are people who do, but crying about a turbo controller because someone got the drop on you? Yeah ok. Regnyum, there is really not much point in starting threads about weapon balancing in the War Room, try General Discussion or Feedback, if you are actually serious about it. Though I agree, the ScR badly needs some balancing, and there are multiple threads on the topic. Just like you guys have never glitched in the past, right zaria? *cough*meleeglitcher*cough* No human being on earth can press his finger that fast while aiming at the same time, depleting 580+ shields and 420+ armor in the blink of an eye, and I'm a guy who can press a button 720+ times in 60 seconds.
A charged headshot followed up with another 5 or so rapid shots will kill fast, espeacially with prof 5 and 3 damage mods.

I'm totally cool with giving the SCR more hipfire spread.
If this also applies for the Rail-Rifle, the AR finally gets some kind of kick and the laser receives a meaningful role on the field again.
Seriously, I think especially with the new rifles the scr is pretty much balanced. to really get it useful you have to use the amarr assault suit, something which applies to no other weapon in the game. so 1,2 mil SP more to skill for just one weapon. think thats pretty fair, other then most auto weapons it also requieres good aiminng while you keep your overheat in mind, not like the other pay and spray variants.
think the scr qq should be finally over, the weapon is like it is since uprising, all the qq came up 3 weeks ago, dunno why, maybe because of boredom, the rr is a perfect counter to the scr for it does more dmg to armor and if you run your amarr assault suit to use the scr thats pretty much your weak point. the range buff seemed pretty random before 1.7, now I only can say it was the right decision, its the most tactical gun of qll the AR guns and should have the biggest range for its singleshot nature.

The Carthum is fine....but the Imperial needs the exact same series of nerfs that the Duvolle Tact got those months back.
Reduction in clip size, significant recoil and bullet spread when hip firing, and reduction in ROF

It would also discourage logis from using them as omni-weapons. I don't care if the hipfire spread is changed because I use an ishukone smg a anyways
Going to stay out of AV/V debates, better for my sanity.

Reduction in clip size, significant recoil and bullet spread when hip firing, and reduction in ROF There can't be recoil or bullet spread on a Laser weapon. It needs to have a slightly reduced efficiency in CQC as well as be more accurate in CQC, so it takes more skill to land those shots.
The Rail Rifle is terribly OP though. It does pretty much full damage at all ranges. Every light weapon does, and they do it so good, that since 1.7, I haven't seen a single heavy holding an HMG.

As a Caldari, I've always thought the ScR was a bit OP.
Since the introduction of the RR and CR, I think the field has been equalized. |
